EMT3® Go-Kit - START Military Tags

START-Based MCI Go-Kit with Military Triage Tags

The EMT3® Go-Kit with START Military Tags is designed to help responders manage patient flow, documentation, and accountability during a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI). Built around the EMT3® MCI management process, this kit supports treatment area coordination, transportation tracking, and patient destination assignment after initial triage.

This military-specific START configuration includes Military All Risk® Triage Tags and is ideal for agencies, teams, or organizations that need a START-based MCI go-kit using military triage tag terminology or format preferences.

Designed to Support the EMT3® MCI Management Process

Initial triage helps identify patient priority, but effective MCI response also requires a structured system for managing what happens next. The EMT3® Go-Kit provides responders with forms, worksheets, receipt holders, count cards, and triage tags designed to support patient movement from treatment to transportation and destination tracking.

The system helps support key MCI roles, including Triage & Transportation Unit Leaders and command-level personnel responsible for maintaining situational awareness and patient accountability.

Supports Treatment, Transportation, and Destination Tracking

The included documentation tools help responders record patient status, treatment area counts, ambulance staging, bed availability, and patient destination information. By organizing this information in one go-kit, agencies can improve communication between operational roles and maintain a clearer picture of patient movement throughout the incident.

This kit is especially useful for organizations building or standardizing their MCI response process around START triage while using military-specific triage tags.

Optional Add-Ons for a More Complete MCI Response Setup

Teams can further support their START triage response with optional accessories such as triage ribbon dispensers, role identification vests, treatment area supplies, and refill components.

Common add-ons include:

  • 6-Bay Triage Ribbon Dispenser - START Triage
  • 4-Bay Triage Ribbon Dispenser
  • Dynamic Vest Kits for MCI role identification
  • Treatment Area Tarps & Flags
  • Replacement forms, worksheets, cards, and receipt holders

START Military Tags Go-Kit for Mass Casualty Incident Preparedness

The EMT3® Go-Kit with START Military Tags provides emergency response teams, preparedness programs, public safety organizations, training programs, and military-support environments with a structured system for managing patient tracking and documentation during Mass Casualty Incidents. This kit is designed for teams that use START triage protocols and require Military All Risk® Triage Tags as part of their response setup.

Improve Patient Accountability During MCIs

During an MCI, patient accountability depends on clear documentation and consistent communication between response roles. The EMT3® Go-Kit helps responders track patients as they move through treatment areas, transportation coordination, and destination assignment, supporting better situational awareness throughout the incident.
